Both the gunman & 1/2 the theater occupants would now be dead. Maybe such an incident is what is needed to shut up the idiots that always mouth off whenever a tragedy caused by civilians possessing guns they have no legitimate need for occurs.

For george – guns kill people, that is the whole point,, you can not stop bad people from getting them. So in order to protect yourself you need to get one, just like a seatbelt.. Thet even call it that,, armed protection.

You have a better chance of survival if you shoot the insane gunman before he shoots you.. Being unarmed is like not wearing your seatbelt. Being armed could save your life.
