If “Run” does not appear when you click on ‘Start”, press the “Windows key” (by the Control key” on keyboard bottom left) TOGETHER with the “r” key to make it appear. Then proceed as instructed.
Newer versions of Windows no longer display “Start” in lower left of screen. A circle with “Windows flag” or some other icon I forget may appear instead.
You might first try pressing the Control Key as you initially bring up the KRXA webpage & the same as you click to try to connect to the stream. While much simpler, I don’t know for sure that this will work.
Thanks, but unfortunately, none of the suggestions worked, and once again, the online audience can’t hear Randi’s show. Not sure why KRXA consistently has so many problems with streaming. Since I’m not in terrestrial listening distance today, I’m off to KPHX’s website. Sorry, Hal.
Still cannot hear.
I think the problem is that the various Internet Domain Name Servers KRXA listeners may be using have not all updated THEIR pointer to the new IP address for the stream. Hal should be able to give us the new stream IP address (all numbers) and if listeners plug that into the browser, it will bypass the Internet’s DNS servers until they update THEIR databases. I would do a reverse DNS lookup but all “hacker tools” & radio streams are blocked where I work.
Yay! Got it! Thanks for the leg work to fix the streaming. And I love the sun, but am also glad the solar flares are gone (for now)!
