  1. Tera Powers says:

The Amish are exempt because part of their traditional religious doctrine is opposed to insurance. They do have to establish evidence through a bond or other means that they are able to meet the needs of their community should they fall ill. Amish people pay into a fund that is set aside for emergencies for the entire community, so that’s their means.

  2. Big Time says:

The more I learn about the “scandals” circling Obama the more I realize there aren’t any scandals, just jackals and vultures as usual.

I am amazed at how stupid the members of the media are. I guess not THAT amazed, but the fact that ALL outlets from TV seem to have really latched onto the FOX band-wagon regarding the IRS and AP.

There is no research, no vetting, no actual journalism anymore. It’s as if each station watches their competition to see what’s popular with them, then the story is bent or parroted back to fit the niche or narrative of that outlet.

    1. IRS There is no scandal. 501.c.4 groups are to be non-profit only if they actually are designed for social welfare. I listen to Roger Hedgc*^k in the PM and he was crying about a liberal 501.c.4 group that was approved within a month of application. His beef was that it was to give aide to an African nation. He mocked it, as if it were not legitimate. The moron doesn’t seem to see past his own teabags.
    2. AP Upon actual investigation, there seems to be no “there” there. As I now understand it, either warrens were issued or information on leaks were subpoenaed. (Actually, I’ll listen in for your take. But it sounds far less worrisome than we were lead to believe)
    3. Benghazi? As soon as the Fox Hounds cry equally loudly for the two illegal wars and the thousands of US soldiers who’ve died over the WMD lie, and the millions of Iraqis as well, and the nearing-3 trillion in cost, I’ll actually not threaten them with physical violence, and rest my head on my hands as I listen.

    Respectfully, B.T.

    Oh yes, LOVE YOUR SHOW

    • Davee says:

Well apertantly, you and the CEO of AP disagree.. I can only assume that he is more informed on the issue than you. At any rate, it appears it’s headed to court.. From what we do know, the military, J Edgar Hover. This govt has done many illegal acts,, why are you willing to turn a blind eye and jump to conclusions? When the govt. Is accused it is only reasonable to have outside enitey investigate. We should all be reasonable.

  3. The Lesser Rusty says:

    Right on, B.T. !
