AM 540 AM June 4 – 8

Week three of the expanded and earlier Morning Show on KRXA – AM 540 AM – brings a twist.  I’m in MD so Coach and I will be doing a truly bi-show – bi-coastal that is.  Call (888) KRXA-540 to be part of the non-stop laff riot that is heard only on KRXA 540 AM 6 – 9 am Pacific and at krxa540.com.

Understandably, calls tended to be sparse in our first hour.  If you call then, you’ll have the best chance to talk to us for a few minutes rather than 30 to 60 seconds.

As always, we ask that you please forward this newsletter to any friend, relative, acquaintance, casual contact, frenemy, enemy, or nemesis, whom you think would enjoy learning about KRXA.

Don’t forget to become a facebook KRXA Five Forty Friend at www.facebook.com/groups/152169051511789/ or simply type fivefortyfriend into your Facebook search bar.

Most importantly, if you haven’t voted by absentee ballot, make sure to take a few minutes Tuesday to vote at your designate polling place.

Expect as always the unexpected on AM 540 AM – including last-minute guest additions to the lineup.
Here is a partial list of candidates and ballot measures being voted on Tuesday along with our endorsements:

17th Senate District – Bill Monning
27th Assembly District – Mark Stone
28th Assembly District – Luis Alejo
Monterey Supervisor District 4 – Marc Del Piero or Carmelita Garcia
Monterey Supervisor District 5 – Jane Parker

Proposition 29 – Yes

  1. Ed Porter says:

Santa Cruz KRXA Gathering Apparently changed to an address on Front Street?

I agree, Anyplace is most likely better because Bocci’s is too expensive.

In a message dated 7/16/2012 1:36:29 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
KRXA PARTY NIGHT IN SANTA CRUZ! Saturday, July 21. First, dinner at Bocci’s Cellar 5pm (thanks to Billy for the suggestion). And for those up for it, we’ll head over to Dollar City, 428 Front St. to watch (and perhaps participate in) Colin’s web video show The Magic Box at 7pm. Everyone is invited! Don’t miss the fun!
