Hal - To any and all Liberal-Progressive talkers on KRXA and elsewhere: It may feel good, but if they keep calling for continued chaos and uncertainty in the Republican primary field, they are just enabling the Rove plan to parachute an un-sullied, un-vetted, last minute relief candidate into the arms of the pissed off GOP faithful. It will be August, and Obama will have to pivot very hard to deal with that blind-side. And if I am wrong - thanks the Gods.
Thanks for starting KRXA.

Shade, I'm not sure which year you're citing, but for 2011 Komen devoted 15% of its revenues toward research. See this Reuters piece for verification:

http://pennstatehershey.adam.com/content.aspx?productId=16&gid=50429

Note that I did not imply the org spends only that amount on overall cancer services. But they *do* call themselves "Susan G. Kom For The Cure," and it's impossible to achieve a cure without research. Adding to that, they refuse to fund research using embryonic stem cells, which many in the scientific community think is appalling. Thanks, Jan

I believe a potentially exciting game was tainted and ruined by the refs on the Patriots first play of the game when Brady's first pass, a deep long pass down the middle, was deemed as a safety? That basically won the game for the Giants as it skewed the scoring pattern for the whole game. Why can't a quarterback throw the ball deep... without getting penalized with a safety or yardage... yet a quarterback can snap the ball and immediately throw the ball into the ground at a center's feet... and he does not get penalized for that obvious pass to no one ?!?... Not even an intentional grounding penalty! Personally, I will stick with hockey, the guys get to beat the crap out of each other and whoever puts the black hard puck in the net most WINS!!!

Giant have the second lowest sacks in the league when the offense lines 2 tight ends up in the formation(as the pats do 74% of the time.....Giants will be lucky to sack Brady more then once.... Pats by 10......Also for all u Bob oliver fan, might all these games be fixed?the new american century and our global conquest depends alot on the sheep back at home having red white and blue and the word "Patriot"shoved into a positive framwork in our minds al a positive or "winning"thing...I think the pats winning the superbowl after 9/11 was the first clue.

Now that we've heard from "The Brady Bunch",I just want to remind you of an old Three Dog Night song "Eli's Comin'". He's playing the best of his career and the Giants defense will have Brady confused. Go Giants!

Why the Giants? New York bias!! They barely made it into the playoffs and only got by the 49ers due to the Niners careless punt returner.
Why does the media consistently favor the New York teams? Because of market share, and NY being the number #1 market, it is about revenue, and necessarily who is the better team.
Put your money on Tom Brady & The Patriots... he is a winner, and I don't think Giselle would argue with that!

I think we might be underestimating replacing the carbon problem with , say solar power. I BELIEVE there are very smart people out there, and one invention, or forward movement leads to another and it can grow expotentially..I don't beleieve you can say it would take too long, as the next best thing is just around the corner and just like anything else it can explode in technology and ideas..just look at the tech. progress from t.v's to phones just in the last couple of years, which will be obsolete in another year or two. So, I , for one BELIEVE this can happen sooner than later. Putting a "artificial timeline" on progress in solar (among others) is unrealistic...no one knows..but one thing I do know..as a FACT..look at the recent past developments that have drastically changed our lives..no reason to think ieas and inventions in solar cannot come a LOT quicker than presently thought.
